For years Nike have been releasing iterations of their iconic sneaker models, with the Air Jordan 4 being an undeniable wishlist-topper. Scheduled for December 2nd, the latest AJ4 release marries that iconic design, with subdued, earth-toned olive green.

2023 has seen an impressive slew of releases for the Air Jordan 4, including the return of the ‘Thunder’ colourway and wildly popular womens exclusive ‘Frozen Moments’. The ‘Craft Olive’ pair, however, keeps things more muted. An upper of green tones on suede and leather materials give that perfect blend of retro silhouette meets luxury that’s become a hallmark of team Jumpman.

This particular release marks the first time the AJ4 has been shown in this darker shade of green, resulting in a more subtle offering. The design incorporates contrasting black accents throughout, including the signature wings and heel tab – which features a striking silhouette of Michael Jordan. A fitting point of difference for a revisit of the ‘Craft’ line that allows the Jordan Brand to create sneakers that have a more handmade feel, and an added air of exclusivity.

This more unique feel is achieved through the use of separate panels on the upper, and stitch detail vs the usual single panel seen on most AJ4 models. This provides the illusion of being made by hand, and sets the ‘Craft’ pairs apart from their more commonplace counterparts.
