As unexpected partnerships and retro revivals continue to dominate the market, Air Jordan has revealed its latest release alongside Nike’s skateboarding division. Following a successful collaboration in 2019, Nike SB now reworks another of Tinker Hatfield’s legendary silhouettes: the Jordan 4. Adopting key elements from each brand, this all-new rendition effortlessly fuses Nike SB’s skate aesthetic with Jordan’s basketball heritage. The result? A hybrid sneaker that masters both the half pipe and hardwood. Ahead of its arrival, take a closer look at the upcoming AJ4.
Heavily inspired by the “Military Blue” iteration from 1989, the Nike SB x Air Jordan 4 “Pine Green” boasts a leather construction and smooth suede overlays. Mesh panels adorn the sidewalls and vibrant green accents grace the lacing system. At the rear, Nike SB’s trademark logo refreshes the heel tab, while Jumpman branding appears on the tongue and lining. A grip-enhancing gum sole rounds off the design, securing the Jordan 4’s place in skateboarding culture.
Coming soon to Laced, the Nike SB x Air Jordan 4 “Pine Green” is set to release 21st March 2023.
