Virgil sends Off-White Golf shoes to Golfer Brooks Koepka
Virgil Abloh the creative mind behind Off-White and Artistic Director of Louis Vuitton has made a habit of sending custom creations to a variety of high profile recipients. The likes of Tennis sensation Serena Williams wore her custom outfit at the 2019 French Open; World Cup winner Kylian Mbappé who received a custom pair of Off-White x Nike Mercurial 360 football boots; and singer Beyoncé who received a special Off-White x Air Jordan 1 Chicago with her name on them. This time, however, it is American Golfer Brooks Koepka who is getting the welcome gift, receiving a pair of Off-White Golf shoes. Koepka currently sits joint top of the Tour Championship and was the 2018 PGA Tour Player of the Year.

The custom pair in question are a rework of the Off-White x Nike Air Max 90 which saw a general release in February 2019 and marked the highly publicised end of ‘The 10’ Collection. The design comes complete with all the usual Off-White signatures including an Off-White ziptie, neon orange tab, and familiar branding. While in addition sporting underneath practical golf spikes. Spikes Koepka has been testing out on the links in Atlanta, Georgia USA during the Tour Championship. Whether or not this will remain a one time custom for the Golfer, or will become a full fledged range by Off-White x Nike is yet to be determined.

While also dividing his time with his brand Off-White to further his very popular and very successful collaboration with Nike. Which will soon see the highly anticipated arrival of the Off-White x Nike Dunk SB, said to be dropping in four colourways across numerous online trainers platforms soon; Pine Green, Blue, Red and Syracuse.
