Hot off the back of 2020’s first Yeezy Boost 380 colourway, the “Mist”, another look has already been lined up in time for May. The new “Blue Oat” colourway looks set to take the silhouette up a notch with a more daring colour scheme that introduces an orange, brown and blue upper.

The desert oasis look will set itself apart from the rest of the Yeezy releases dropping around this time of the year, as the rest of the catalogue from adidas and Kanye looks set to continue its more muted colour schemes for footwear that can be included in any rotation.

The “Blue Oat” looks like it’ll be more of a niche look for trainer fans, but let’s not kid ourselves – this is still a Yeezy, so we expect there to be enough hype that this will sell out in minutes on release day.

Few have had a clear look at the new colourway yet, with most being teased with the concept art for it’s exclusive first appearance. The look is a dark brown upper with an orange pattern interspersed, as well as a pink sock liner to help the colour pop.

The colour blends gradually down into the tan midsole and gum outsole with the 380 BOOST tech heel reaching all the way up the back of the shoe. The base colourway is very earthy so Yeezy have thrown in a royal blue streak across the midfoot as well as the pink sock liner, in order to break up the grounded tones with a splash of eye-catching colour.

We’re expecting a reflective and non-reflective version to drop around May time. We’re still waiting on an exact date but keep checking in with us at Laced’s online trainers’ platform for more information on an exact drop date as and when it becomes available.

The new Boost 380 “Blue Oat” will be available from select adidas Yeezy stockists and will be priced around $230 (187).
