First Look at the Yeezy 350 v2 Yecheil
With a name believed to be derived from the Hebrew word Yechi’el meaning “May God live” or “God shall live”, Kanye West has made a habit of adapting religious language in a particularly unique way. You only have to look at his studio album Yeezus or the working title for his 2019 ‘Jesus is King’ project, Yandhi. Often describing himself as a “God” in his music. It appears the religious themes are beginning to bleed into his Yeezy brand. The Yeezy 350 v2 Yecheil is rumoured to be arriving sometime in Winter 2019, in a reflective and non-reflective iterations.
Utilising the newly updated Yeezy 350 v2 silhouette, which arrives minus the heel pull tab. This fully Primeknit constructed upper appears in a visually stunning combination of colours. Contrasting grey, purple, red and neon green elements against a black base and black Boost sole unit. A welcome change of aesthetic from the usual earth tones showcased on most the previously released Yeezy 350 models. Tentatively touted for release December 15th, this futuristic new take on the Yeezy 350 v2 is without a doubt going to send fans of the brand into rapture this Winter.
First Look at the Yeezy 350 v2 Yeezreel
Accompanying the Yecheil colourway set for release this Winter is the Yeezy 350 v2 Yeezreel. Offering a similar aesthetic to the previously released Yeezy 350 v2 Glow. The Yeezreel colourway still leaves plenty of room for differentiation. With a name suggested as being a play on the word Jezreel. Kanye West continues to sew religious messaging into his creative endeavours.
Just as with the Yecheil. The Yeezreel is dropping on the Heel Pull Tab-less variation of the Yeezy 350 v2 silhouette. With a Primeknit upper that cuts its neon tones and translucent side stripe with a healthy dose of black thread to accentuate its woven texture. Also arriving in a Reflective and Non-Reflective iteration. With the reflective version lighting up under a bright flash. Showcasing the large quantity of reflective material interwoven into the design.
Rumoured Yeezy 350 v2 Yeshaya potentially dropping
The Yecheil and Yeezreel colourways are all but confirmed for December, but YeezyMafia seemed to think there is a third to complete the trio heading for a potential January 2020 release. The shoe in question, the Yeezy 350 v2 Yeshaya takes its name from the Hebrew word meaning “God Is Salvation” and in a lot of ways follows the trends set by the December touted duo.
Par for the course appearing on the Heel pull tab-less iteration of the silhouette. While aesthetically tackling a colour palette of purple, black and yellow not too dissimilar to the LA Lakers colours we have previously seen painted across the Air Jordan 1. Little specifics are known about the Yeshaya model, with nothing more than a leaked mockup available online at the time. What we do know is that if this product is going to be released across online trainers platforms, it is expected to be in early 2020 after the releases of both the Yeezy 350 v2 Yecheil and Yeezy 350 v2 Yeezreel.
