Next up on the Yeezy roster is 2020’s most Spring aesthetic yet. On the back of the dark brown “Cinder” look, the team at Yeezy and adidas are now going back to the muted, pastel colouring that the 350 V2 looks great in, this time with a pale yellow and grey colour scheme that looks set to own the Spring.
We were first treated to a sneak peak of the “Linen” colourway on adidas’ Japanese site, which quickly lit the flames on the rumours that this was going to be an exclusive look for the Asian market. Luckily, we were wrong. The Yeezy 350 V2 “Linen” will drop this Saturday 18 worldwide.
Picture the “Marsh” colourway that has been given an Easter makeover and you’ll be picturing the “Linen”. The whole Primeknit upper has been decked out in a light-yellow colouring with a greyish, light blue side stripe running the length of the foot. The same light blue colouring is used on the sockliner which gives a clean edging around the ankle and really helps bring out the colour and shaping of the upper.
Of course the usual adidas Boost unit is housed in a ribbed midsole in a colour matched pale yellow with a tan outsole, which reaches up the toe and heel. Thick, tubular rope laces in the same pale yellow and used to tie up the Primeknit upper.
Yeezy fans have been eagerly awaiting the release of the new “Linen” colourway since back in January so we expect hype to be well up on this drop. Most raffles have already closed for your best chance to get your hands on a pair so expect the resale market to be a feeding frenzy after Saturday has past.
