To kick off the new decade adidas and YEEZY are gifting fans a new model design to add to the YEEZY collection in the form of the 700 MNVN. Consider the new look the 700 V3’s older brother; they share a similar DNA and may have a familiar look about them but don’t throw the new 700 MNVN in the same bracket – they are a completely new animal to contend with.
Adidas and YEEZY have chosen them as the new flagship to kick off 2020 with a spring release. Over the course of the next few months, fans will be treated to the new design on four unique colourways; the “Orange”, “Triple Black”, “Bone” and “Phosphor”.
We’ve been treated to a few sneak peaks of the designs in the form of concept art. And the new designs throw up a few unique changes.
Firstly, there has been a move away from the usual suede and leather construction of the of the 700 V3 for a Nylon based build to create a trainer with a much different aesthetic to anything we’ve seen so far from the YEEZY brand.
This is also the first YEEZY model that won’t actually feature its namesake in its title. In a move that may confuse a few trainer aficionados as they set out on the hunt for a new pair to add to their collection, this release will be the adidas 700 MNVN, without the “YEEZY” moniker.
Orange & Triple Black
The first two colourways on the calendar are the “Orange”, an electric tangerine upper set to the black backdrop for a vibrant on feet look, quickly followed by the “Triple Black”, the first all-black colourway for the traditionalists who want to opt for the sleek dark aesthetic.
Bone & Phosphor
Following quickly on the heels of the “Orange” and “Triple Black” is the “Bone” colourway. This, cream white upper is the most subdued look in the Spring release and the mix of black and bone-like white creates a very clean, classic look.
After that, the “Phosphor” colourway, an electric yellow on black aesthetic finishes the new 700 MNVN pack with another vibrant look to match the “Orange”.
All of the new looks feature new lacing systems as well as the tried and tested BOOST midsole.
The adidas 700 MNVN is the first new YEEZY design in a while so expect demand for these new kicks to be extremely high, in store and online. Trainers can be bought and sold using our platform at Laced, too, where you can find all the best YEEZY trainers to complete your collection.
