Coming from the legendary combo of Peter Moore, Tinker Hatfield and Bruce Kilgore, the Jordan 1 continues to be one of the most popular sneaker silhouettes on the market, 35 years on. That popularity shows no signs of slowing down, with at least 13 options scheduled for 2023 alone.
After lots of rumours and rumblings since Nike’s early 2023 announcement of the Retro Collection that released in spring, the re-release of one of the most coveted Air Jordan models is finally arriving on October 18th, available exclusively in womens and childrens sizing.
Initially released in a run of 501 pairs in 2016, the Jordan 1 OG Satin Bred quickly became a much sought-after colourway of the Jordan 1, regularly selling for far over retail thanks to its exclusivity and unique material use. This iteration featured an all-satin upper, giving the sneaker a shine that sets it apart from the leather uppers we’re used to and boasts the Jordan brands iconic black and red colour blocking throughout. The only change from the 2016 original? The sizes available.
The Air Jordan 1 OG Satin Bred is scheduled to release on October 18th.
