Sneakerhead Christmas (a.k.a. Nike SNKRS Day) is right around the corner. Despite a few years of anticlimactic restocks, we feel 2021 will be the best SNKRS Day yet. As of writing this, no specific restocks are 100% confirmed – but plenty of rumours are flying around the sneakerverse that have collectors excited. Whether you are a Nike head or Jordan Brand enthusiast, it looks like SNKRS Day will have something for everybody. Here’s what to expect on August 8th…

AIR JORDAN 1

One of the most hyped sneakers of all time, the Air Jordan 1, has had an incredible 12 months. The silhouette has gone from strength to strength with collaborations and vibrant colourways, making the shoe more desirable now than ever before. Fortunately, some of the hottest versions of the AJ1 to drop over the last year look set to restock on SNKRS Day. If you missed out on the likes of the Trophy Room collaboration or the Dark Mocha colourway, you have a second chance at grabbing them. Look at the list below to see the rumoured Jordan 1’s set to re-release on the 8th of August.

Air Jordan 1 x Trophy Room

Air Jordan 1 University Blue

Air Jordan 1 Hyper Royal

Air Jordan 1 x J Balvin

Air Jordan 1 Dark Mocha

Air Jordan 1 Light Smoke Grey

AIR JORDAN 3 X A MA MANIERE

Next up on the SNKRS Day super restock is the incredible A Ma Maniere x Air Jordan 3. When it comes to A Ma Maniere, the beauty is always within the details. The brand’s history and storytelling made this silhouette a super special release. The attention to detail of this intentionally aged sneaker from the founder of A Ma Maniere shows how deeply the brand functions within the sneaker culture. They went above and beyond to ensure the aesthetics of this intentionally aged AJ3 were as accurate as could be, making this shoe one of the finest examples of a collaborative Jordan we have ever seen. We have everything crossed for a re-release on SNKRS Day.

AIR JORDAN 4

Much like the Air Jordan 1, the AJ4 has seen a serious boom in popularity over the last few months. Staggering collaborations with the likes of Union LA and Abloh’s Off-White has seen a resurgence in interest around the Air Jordan 4, and we are all for it. If the rumours we are seeing are true, both OG colourways of the Union LA x Jordan 4 will be releasing, as will the Off-White ‘Sail’ colourway.

Also suspected to release alongside these three fan favourites is the AJ4 inspired by MJ’s school,
the Jordan 4 University Blue. A must-have for any Jordan fan following the GOAT since his time
at the University of North Carolina.

AIR JORDAN 6 X TRAVIS SCOTT BRITISH KHAKI

It is almost impossible to engage within the sneaker community at the moment without hearing Travis Scott’s name. Fresh off his latest AJ1 in partnership with Jordan Brand and Fragment, we hear that Scott’s AJ6 in the khaki colourway is due to restock. Combining elevated materials throughout with the sand-like hue gave this Air Joran 6 a look we had not seen before. You can find cactus Jack branding throughout the shoe, leaving no doubt in anybody’s mind that this is a Travis Scott creation. If you caught an L like the rest of us on the Travis Scott x Fragment AJ1, at least this restock can ease the pain.

NIKE DUNKS

You simply cannot have a Nike sneaker restock day without at least one pair of Dunks re-releasing. The silhouette of 2020 has had one of the biggest comebacks in sneaker history. A shoe once forgotten about has become the must-have sneaker for both collectors and moodboard enthusiasts. The last two years have seen an abundance of quality colourways and collabs drop, and fortunately, we think a handful will be returning for SNKRS Day. It doesn’t look like any of the collaborations will be returning, but a handful of the best General Releases look to be making a return. Take a look below at the Dunks we are expecting to see.

Nike Dunk High Syracuse

Nike SB Dunk Low Chicago

Nike Dunk Low UNC

Nike Dunk Low & High Black / White

Like the rest of you sneakerheads out there, we cannot wait for the 8th of August to see what Nike has lined up for SNKRS Day. After a few years of anti-climatic drops, we expect the 2021 celebration to be one to remember.
