The new look New Balance 327 has had a whole host of new colourways dropping left right and centre since the release of the new design. This is one look that the American designers are really getting behind, keeping fresh new looks flowing so that popularity around the silhouette doesn’t run dry.

The shoe itself is a recreation of their popular running shoe from the 1970’s, reinvented for a style market and fitting in more as a leisure shoe than a piece of exercise equipment. When it first dropped earlier in the year, we were introduced to the new design with some classic colourways; the “Team away Grey and Munsell White” and the “Marine Blue and Varsity Orange” appealed to the masses with a lighter colourway and a vibrant orange and blue for those a little more adventurous in their trainer choices.

New Balance’s latest colourway coincides with an autumn release with a very autumnal colourway. Dark grey and Citrus orange are applied to the suede and nylon panels which are used to construct the main part of the shoe. The main part of the upper starts with the Citrus orange nylon construction. This is covered with grey suede overlays covering the heel, toe and eyestay segment of the top foot.

A number of white features are used to nit together the colourway, including a large “N” branding in a bold white colouring as well as white lacing, socklining and a crisp white midsole. Completing the look is the gum outsole, this time in a tan brown colour, that reaches up the toe and heel and has a rugged bobbled surface for extra grip and durability.

The new look New Balance 327 Citrus will be made available at select New Balance retailers as well as online at Newbalance.com from July 11. The price tag is expected to be around $100 (£80) making them a readily available pair for anyone looking for new trainers to add to their rotation.
