The Air Jordan 13 is set to receive its first update of the year with the “Starfish” colourway ready to land in the next few days.
With its off-the-wall design specs and out-there colourways, the Air Jordan 13 has never been about attracting as many fans as possible. However, what it has done is amass quite the cult following over the years, and there exists a small section of sneakerheads who are guaranteed to go crazy whenever there’s an update to the storied silhouette.
It’s no surprise this one’s stood the test of time – after all, it was one of the models worn by MJ himself during his final season on the court, which means it’ll be forever recognised as royalty in sneaker culture.
But the popularity of the shoe runs deeper than that. Besides, most people buying the current AJ13 colourways will be too young to remember Jordan’s b-ball heroics anyway! Instead, fans of the style can’t get enough of its weird and wacky aesthetic, and the forthcoming “Starfish” iteration is certainly no exception.
With a striking orange and white colour scheme coupled with the AJ13’s customary design specs, this is set to be another hit among fans of the silhouette. With premium white tumbled leather uppers that feature the model’s dimpled effect, along with tangerine orange panelling on the lateral, medial and heel, this is one colourway that’s designed to grab your attention.
Underfoot, the shoe benefits from a black, grip-heavy outsole, which is great for those nifty twists and turns when you’re strutting your stuff on the court.
