Coming off yearly back to back sell-out collaborations, the sportswear giant has once again teamed up with one of Britain’s most exciting designers to serve up four refreshed models of one of the most sought-after sneakers around.
Material choice is again at the forefront of the collaboration — after the all-metallic offering this summer, we now see three pairs delivered with full pony hair uppers and autumn appropriate tones. The standout pair? A full leopard print (described as Fox Brown/Sandy Beige/Lucky Blue), that rivals even the silver styles from the summer in terms of statement impact. Featuring striking bright blue accents and, as with most of the Wales Bonner pairs, the classic extended tongue.
While the black (Core Black/Cream White) and cream (Cream White/Mystery Brown) pony hair options are more subtle in terms of colour, they make up for it by maintaining the new material use. If past releases are anything to go by, they’ll still prove popular options for those with a more pared back sense of style.
If the pony hair fabrication isn’t to your liking, the nylon ‘Dark Brown/Cream White’ colourway maintains the partnerships signature detailing like crochet stitching, but in an altogether less daring package.
