Gone are the days when almost every new release came in the form of the ubiquitous 350 v2, and Ye now has his sights firmly set on the newer of the Yeezy models.
Some of the new 380 colourways have received mixed reviews, but one that was particularly well-received by fans of the model was the “Calcite Glow”, a striking iteration that proved especially popular when it landed a few weeks back. So popular, in fact, that it flew off the shelves within a few hours of its release, and although back in the day that was par for the course for any new Yeezy update, sadly for Ye that hasn’t been the case lately.
The bright, translucent hues found on the “Calcite Glow” set it apart from some of the missteps of late, and fans simply couldn’t get enough of this stunning colourway, which is why Yeezy have scheduled a restock less than 3 months after it first arrived.
Fans simply couldn’t get enough of this one, and one look will tell you why. A cleaner take on the OG “Alien” colourway that marked the silhouette’s arrival, the “Calcite Glow” benefits from the usual perforated Primeknit upper, which comes with a variety of cream and white hues, along with a grey patch on both the medial and lateral that really catches the eye.
Underfoot, the shoe has the usual chunky midsole, this time in a translucent, glow-in-the-dark rubber which encases the full bed of Boost technology, guaranteeing an uber-comfortable fit for the lucky wearer.
