YEEZY’s most futuristic looking piece of footwear is soon to be releasing in a very space age colourway with the “SRPHYM”. This is a brand new and exclusive look using a colour scheme that we have yet to witness on any YEEZY shoe and boy, are we excited!
The 700 tends to opt for more adventurous colourways when compared to the likes of the BOOST 350 V2, for example, which tends to opt for more earthy hues and natural, understated colouring. With the 700, the gloves are off. Ye and adidas have experimented with colour and ended up concocting this vibrant yellow number.
News of the new look 700 comes amidst a difficult time for YE who is currently dominating Twitter and the social media world for beginning his Presidential campaign, releasing a Twitter tirade that claims he wanted to abort his child North and divorce his wife Kim Kardashian, calling his mother in law Kris Jong-Un, and claiming Harriet Tubman “didn’t save slaves, she just had them work for other white people”.
Worries for the man’s mental health have once again taken centre stage, but once again they do in the midst of a new album release so nobody is really sure whether this is a genuine time for Ye or this is another effort at playing 5-D chess in order to get people to buy his new album.
In his campaign speech in South Carolina Ye also stated that he’d leave YEEZY and GAP behind if they didn’t put him on the board. But with YEEZY releases salted for the rest of the year at least, we still have plenty of YEEZY looks to get excited by.
The look builds on the previous 700 V3 models with a yellow Primeknit upper with streaks of a darker yellow running through it. This is encased in a grey moulded walls, all sandwiched between black sock liner and a stone grey sole.
Release for the new look is set for Autumn 2020 and prices are expected to be around £180. Check back in with Laced’s online trainers platform for more information on an exact release date. Or check out our Yeezy trainers resale market for more looks.
