“Restock” is a beautiful word that inspires a lot of excitement in sneaker fans, especially when it comes to YEEZYS. Footwear from YE and Adidas is known to sell out in minutes rather than hours, and prices are known to jump up, sometimes by hundreds of pounds, on the resale market.
Now, we have been treated to a new restock of the “Bred” colourway which originally landed all the way back in 2017; this places the colourway in the annals of history and can almost qualify it as something of a legendary look. And with the crazy year that Ye is already having; releasing new music alongside Ty Dolla, $ign and others amidst running for presidency 2020 and releasing a whole calendar of new YEEZY looks, its amazing he finds time to pick out which looks he wants to include in his restocks.
The restock won’t be here until winter, giving fans plenty of time to plan for the release of a shoe that’s still upward of £600 on StockX. Which makes the thought of being able to get our hands on a pair at retail price all the more tantalising.
And the look is definitely a winter classic. A Black Primeknit upper is broken up only by the vibrant red ‘SPLY-350’ that hasn’t featured on any YEEZY 350 designs for a while now but are, nonetheless, an iconic piece of the YEEZY look.
The Full length BOOST midsole unit is also camouflaged in a black TPU overlay for an almost complete blackout look which is rare to see from YEEZY these days. YEEZY came close with the “Cinder” colourway, but this turned out to be a more charcoal brown than a black-on-black look.
The two-toned rendition will be dropping in all family sizes this December. Check back in with Laced’s online trainers’ blog for more information on the exact release date.
